2021 was a great year for Prasophyllum striatum in the Blue Mountains of NSW, presumably stimulated by the prior season's fires and La Nina rains.

Oligochaetochilus bisetus (Pterostylis biseta) in the Wimmera. I find it interesting how the rosette dries out before the flowers do.

Diuris punctata is known for its large purple blooms. Its sepals are especially long. I found this population in the plains around the Grampians.

The small duck orcid - Caleana minor - is commonly encountered in coastal heathland throughout Victoria. This particular reserve had hundreds of plants throughout it.

Thynninorchis huntiana (Arthrochilus huntianus) is an elbow orchid found in south eastern Australia. It grows in woodland from the coast to subalpine forests. I found this specimen on Mt Buffalo.
