Fierce Flora Orchids

Although mainly focusing my expertise on carnivorous plants, I have also developed a love for orchids and regard them as the pinnacle of floral evolution. This website is an orchid focused sister-site for the carnivorous plant project Fierce Flora.

Fierce Flora documents carnivorous plants through photography, time-lapse videos, expedition reports of plants in the wild, species spotlights and cultivation notes. It especially focuses on contextualising these amazing plants in their natural habitats.

About the Author

Boaz Ng is a carnivorous plant enthusiast from Sydney, Australia. He has been growing these plants since childhood and specialises in Drosera. A medical scientist by trade, his interests include hiking, photography and travelling the world to understand how carnivorous plants grow in the wild.
